Every child can learn. Sometimes the curriculum just has to learn the child first.
Every child can learn the material. Some just need it presented a different way. Kim Niehaus, M.Ed., works alongside homeschool families and school districts to adapt elementary lessons and make grade-level content accessible.

Educational Psychology
Meet Kim Niehaus, M.Ed., Educational Psychology
Kim Niehaus holds a master’s degree in educational psychology and brings years of experience in behavioral health and in adapting curriculum for elementary-age children who learn differently, making grade-level content accessible.
Her deepest expertise comes from home. When her son was diagnosed with severe autism at age two, medical professionals told Kim he would never be able to plan, reason, talk, or read. Kim believed he could learn. He just needed the material presented a different way. So she built a curriculum around him: his strengths, his challenges, and the way he actually learns.
Today, her son reads, communicates constantly, and continues to learn at his own pace.
He still lives with severe autism, and learning is still challenging. But Kim found a way in, and she hasn’t stopped finding new ones.
What began with her son became the foundation of her approach, one she now extends to children with other learning differences, such as dyslexia. Her belief is the same for every family and school she works with: every child can learn.
